Digital Law.
You wouldn't just walk into a store and take a magazine without paying for it, would you? I hope most people answer "no" to this question! But unfortunately, many people are guilty of stealing digital content. On the flip side, how would you feel if you worked really hard to create an image or lecture and it got used by someone else without them having to work for it or even give you any credit for all of the work that you did? Even worse, what if they stole your content and modified it to include incorrect information or inappropriate content? Not only is the theft of digital content unethical, but it is also illegal. This page serves to supply information on the subject of digital law, and hopefully clear up some questions, you as an educator, may have. I have good news as well! I will provide a list of open resources that ARE available for using and/or modifying for your classroom.
